Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 August 2026

This policy explains what soccer.lat collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers both the website and the Soccer Lat app for Android, which is the same game packaged to install — so everything below applies the same way to either one. The game is free, has no accounts and no payments.

What we store on your device

Everything you configure — your username, colours, kit, team name and crest, key bindings, audio and graphics settings, and your advertising choice — is saved on your own device: in your browser's local storage on the web, and in the app's own storage if you installed it. It never leaves your device except where stated below, and clearing your browser data — or uninstalling the app — erases it.

We also generate a random player ID and keep it in the same place. It is not linked to your identity: it exists so that a player banned from a room stays banned after a refresh.

What other players see

This game is peer-to-peer: while you are in a match, your browser talks directly to the other players' browsers. That means they receive your username, your appearance, your position in the match, your chat messages and your voice if you enable it — and, as with any direct connection on the internet, your IP address is visible to them and theirs to you. It is how a real-time match is possible without a server in the middle, and it is the same for everyone in the room. The same thing happens for a moment before you join: to show you a real ping instead of a guess, the game briefly connects to the nearest few rooms just to measure it, and closes those connections immediately — while they last, your IP address is visible to those hosts in the same way.

Our matchmaking server only handles the room list: room names, whether a room has a password, how many players are in it, and an approximate location of each host so the list can show how far away every room is. That location is a city, worked out on our server from the connection and never more precise than that — it is never stored and it is not linked to you. Match data never passes through it.

Voice chat

Voice is off until you use it. Your microphone is only requested the first time you actually try to speak, and audio is sent directly to the other players — it is never recorded or stored, by us or by anyone else.

Advertising

The billboards around the pitch show real ads, served by Anzu (anzu.io). To choose and measure them, Anzu receives technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from the IP, and how long each billboard was visible on your screen.

If you are in Europe we ask for your permission before any of this happens — if you say no, the advertising system is never loaded at all. In the United States you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your data at any time. Everywhere else the ads are shown without personalisation choices, as local law allows.

Anzu's own privacy policy governs what they do with that data.

What we do not do

We do not use tracking cookies. We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles ourselves. We have no accounts, so we never ask for an email or a password, and we cannot recover anything if you clear your browser.

Children

The game is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has been playing, write to us and we will help.

Your rights

Because we hold no account and no server-side profile, most of your data is already in your hands: clearing your browser storage deletes it. For anything held by our advertising partner, or to ask a question about this policy, come and ask us on our Discord and we will answer.

Qué NO hacemos

No usamos cookies de seguimiento. No vendemos tus datos.
